IMPEX CUSTOMER SERVICE REPRESENTATIVE
About the role
This is a full-time role based in Binondo, Manila City, Metro Manila, working for RVS CARGO SERVICES INC.', a leading freight and cargo forwarding company. As the IMPEX Customer Service Representative, you will be responsible for providing exceptional customer service and support to the company's import and export clients, ensuring their logistics needs are met efficiently and effectively.
What you'll be doing- Respond to inbound inquiries from clients regarding the status of their shipments, delivery timelines, and any other logistics-related questions
- Coordinate with internal teams and external partners to provide accurate and timely updates to customers
- Process import and export documentation, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and policies
- Manage and resolve customer complaints and issues in a professional and timely manner
- Maintain detailed records and documentation related to all customer interactions and transactions
- Provide recommendations and solutions to improve the overall customer experience
- At least 2 years of experience in a customer service or logistics-related role, preferably in the freight/cargo forwarding industry
- Strong written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to effectively liaise with both internal and external stakeholders
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to think critically and provide creative solutions
- Proficient in using relevant software and systems, including customer relationship management (CRM) tools
- Thorough understanding of import and export regulations, documentation, and procedures
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and manage multiple tasks simultaneously
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to providing exceptional customer service
