About the role

As a Cloud Data Engineer, you will play a crucial role in designing, implementing, and maintaining highly scalable and robust data infrastructure to support the company's innovative cloud-powered offerings. This full-time, on-site position is based in Quezon City, Metro Manila, offering opportunities for growth and development within a dynamic and forward-thinking organization.

• Design and develop efficient, scalable, and reliable data pipelines to handle large-scale data processing and analytics
• Implement and maintain data warehousing and data lake solutions using the latest cloud technologies
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into effective data solutions
• Optimize data processing workflows and ensure high performance and availability of data infrastructure
• Participate in the continuous improvement of data architecture and practices to support the company's evolving needs
• Mentor and guide junior team members to foster a culture of knowledge-sharing and professional development

• Must have: Azure, PowerShell, Bicep, Azure DevOps

1. Azure infrastructure deployment and management

• Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) tools in Azure
• Experienced with PowerShell and Bicep scripting for automating infrastructure deployment and management.

1. Platform lifecycle management with Devops

• Strong knowledge of DevOps practices and tools, including Azure DevOps and Git (must have)
• Platform lifecycle management with DevOps
• Experienced implement and manage of CI/CD pipelines using Azure DevOps and Git to ensure smooth deployment and integration processes

1. Other technologies/process:

• Specific Technologies: ADLS Gen2, Parquet & Delta tables, Azure Data Factory, Synapse Serverless SQL…
• Strong technical expertise in: (Azure) Databricks, unity catalog, Databricks pipelines, Databricks SQL Warehouse, DLT, Notebooks (python) , Databricks Serverless implementation.
• Strong understanding of “big data” / “Lakehouse” architecture
• Ideally, knowledge of Azure FinOps
