The Key Account Manager acts a trusted business consultant to select top resellers and maximize opportunities for WSI products and solutions through deep engagement and collaboration.

Qualifications:

Education and Experience Required
  • University or bachelor’s degree in business/marketing/technology preferred.
  • Typically, 3-5 years of selling experience at partner level, experience in selling to end-user account is a plus.
  • Experience developing positive relationships and solving customer problems.
  • Experience developing account plans.
  • Proven track record.
Knowledge and Skills
  • Understanding of the IT industry, competing vendors, and the channel, including competitive positioning
  • Understanding of distributor organization & operations.
  • Understanding of a ComCon products and solutions. Able to articulate other products in the WSI portfolio.
  • Effectively sells WSI offerings by building strategic relationships with partner contacts and leveraging on programs.
  • Team player: effectively collaborates with others to ensure coordinated, efficient account management.
  • Understanding of pipeline management basics and ability to explain benefits to partners

Duties and Responsibilities:

Internal :

  • Study and learn Commercial Consumer products and solutions.
  • Acquire basic understanding of other WSI offerings (Solutions, Enterprise, and Services) and look out for potential opportunities.
  • Collaborate with product and services team in catering to the reseller and customer requirements.
  • Liaise with operations team to ensure smooth processing of customer orders, payments, and aftersales requests. Deliver monthly sales target.
  • Provide timely customer feedback to ensure a speedy response.

Propose programs tailored to his/her set of accounts.

External:

  • Regular partner engagement to ensure business opportunities are captured, and customer concerns are addressed in a timely manner.
  • Develop strong relationships with reseller key stakeholders.
End-to-end partner engagement: o Retail: Order creation and processing, program execution, and sell-out & inventory monitoring. o Commercial: BOM creation, POCs, pricing, order processing and end user delivery.
  • Initiate regular customer product and program updates together with the WSI product and marketing teams.
  • Proactively develop customized programs to optimize sales.
  • Conduct regular business reviews with the partners.
  • Collaborate with resellers in providing timely and accurate sales forecasts.
  • Retail: Assess sales offtake and inventory.
  • Commercial: Funnel management.
