Accounting Clerk

About the role

PHILMETAL PRODUCTS, Inc.' is seeking a diligent and detail-oriented Accounting Clerk to join our dynamic team in our Makati City, Metro Manila office. As an Accounting Clerk, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the accuracy and integrity of our financial records, supporting the overall accounting and finance functions of the organization.

• Accurately record and post financial transactions, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger entries
• Reconcile bank statements and other accounts to ensure financial data is accurately reflected
• Assist in the preparation of financial reports, statements, and other documents as required
• Perform data entry and maintain electronic and physical filing systems
• Provide administrative support to the Accounting and Finance teams as needed
• Liaise with internal stakeholders to address any accounting-related inquiries or issues

• Minimum 2 years of experience in an accounting or finance-related role, preferably in a similar industry
• Strong attention to detail and excellent numerical and analytical skills
• Proficient in using accounting software and Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a proactive and problem-solving approach
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact effectively with colleagues and stakeholders
• Knowledge of accounting principles, practices, and procedures
