JOB SUMMARY:
The Social Events Sales Executive is responsible for generating revenue through the sale and coordination of social events such as weddings, birthdays, anniversaries, debuts, reunions, and other private functions held at the resort. The position focuses on building strong client relationships, promoting the resort’s event venues and services, and ensuring successful execution of events from inquiry to completion.
Qualifications/Requirements
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES: Promote and sell the resort’s venues and services for social events.
Respond promptly to client inquiries through email, phone calls, and walk-in appointments.Conduct site inspections and venue tours for potential clients.
Prepare event proposals, quotations, and contracts for clients.
Coordinate with internal departments such as Food and Beverage, Banquet, Housekeeping, and Engineering for event requirements.
Assist clients in planning event details including menu selection, seating arrangements, program flow, and special requests.
Ensure all event details are properly documented and communicated to the operations team.
Monitor event bookings and ensure targets and revenue goals are achieved.
Maintain accurate records of inquiries, bookings, and client database.
Attend events when necessary to ensure smooth execution and client satisfaction.
Build and maintain relationships with event planners, suppliers, and repeat clients.
Participate in marketing activities, promotions, and sales campaigns related to social events.
QUALIFICATIONS: Bachelor’s Degree in Hospitality Management, Business Administration, Marketing, or related field.
At least 1–2 years experience in sales, events coordination, or hospitality industry is an advantage.Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
Customer-service oriented with a professional and pleasing personality.
Organized, detail-oriented, and able to handle multiple events simultaneously.
Proficient in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and email communication.
Willing to work flexible hours including weekends and holidays when events are scheduled.
