About the role
We have an exciting opportunity for a Pharmacist to join our team at the Borough Medical Care Institute Inc. in Paranaque City, Metro Manila. As a Pharmacist, you will play a vital role in ensuring the safe and effective dispensing of medication to our patients.This is a full-time position where you will be part of a dynamic and dedicated healthcare team.
What you'll be doing- Dispense prescription medications accurately and efficiently, ensuring patients receive the correct medications and dosages
- Provide pharmaceutical care by assessing patients' medication needs, monitoring for potential drug interactions and side effects, and recommending appropriate treatment plans
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimise patient care
- Maintain detailed records and documentation in accordance with regulatory requirements
- Actively participate in the continuous improvement of pharmacy operations and procedures
- Engage in ongoing professional development to stay up-to-date with industry best practices and advancements
- Registered Pharmacist with a valid license to practice in the Philippines
- Minimum 2 years of experience working as a Pharmacist in a healthcare setting
- Strong knowledge of pharmaceutical principles, medication management, and patient safety protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with patients, physicians, and the healthcare team
- Analytical and problem-solving skills to identify and resolve medication-related issues
