Sage Developer
Role Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Sage Developer to design, develop, and maintain custom applications and integrations within our Sage ERP ecosystem. In this role, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize business workflows, troubleshoot technical issues, and ensure the seamless flow of data across systems.Your expertise will be vital in leveraging Sage technology to drive operational efficiency and support our company's growth.
What You’ll Be Doing:
- Develop, customize, and maintain Sage ERP modules and related business applications.
- Design and implement secure API integrations between Sage and third-party software platforms.
- Write clean, efficient, and well-documented code to automate manual workflows and business processes.
- Troubleshoot, debug, and resolve technical issues and system glitches within the Sage environment.
- Collaborate with business analysts and stakeholders to gather technical requirements and deliver scalable solutions.
- Perform system upgrades, data migrations, and routine database maintenance to ensure optimal performance.
What You’ll Need:
- Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Proven experience as a Sage Developer, specifically working with Sage 100, Sage 300, or Sage X3.
- Strong proficiency in programming languages such as C#, .NET, VB.NET, or Crystal Reports.
- Solid understanding of SQL Server, database management, and writing complex SQL queries.
- Experience developing and consuming RESTful/SOAP APIs and web services.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work independently or in a team environment.
What Will Set You Apart:
- Official Sage Developer or Administrator certifications.
- Experience with cloud platforms (AWS or Azure) and modern DevOps practices.
- Knowledge of financial, accounting, or supply chain business processes.
