Maintenance Tech

About the role

As a Maintenance Tech at INTERACTIVE MULTI-PURPOSE COOPERATIVE', you will play a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation and maintenance of our facilities in Tarlac, Central Luzon. This full-time position will see you undertake a variety of maintenance and handyperson duties to keep our cooperative running efficiently.

1. Perform general maintenance and repairs on our buildings, equipment, and systems
2. Troubleshoot and resolve issues with electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
3. Carry out routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to identify and address potential problems
4. Collaborate with our operations team to coordinate maintenance schedules and ensure minimal disruption to our day-to-day activities
5. Maintain detailed records of all maintenance work completed
6. Assist with minor construction projects and renovations as needed
7. Ensure a safe and clean working environment by following all health and safety protocols

1. Proven experience as a maintenance technician or handyperson, preferably within a cooperative or similar community-oriented organisation
2. Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve a wide range of maintenance issues
3. Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and other building systems
4. Proficient in the use of common maintenance tools and equipment
5. Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain accurate records
6. Good communication and interpersonal skills to liaise with our operations team and members
7. Flexibility to work outside of standard business hours when required
