Job Summary
We are looking for Healthcare Support Associates to join our growing healthcare operations team. In this role, you will provide administrative and customer support services to patients, healthcare providers, and internal teams. Responsibilities may include appointment scheduling, patient pre-registration, insurance verification, financial clearance, and other healthcare-related administrative tasks.The ideal candidate has experience supporting a healthcare account in a BPO setting and is committed to delivering exceptional customer service while ensuring accuracy and compliance.
Key Responsibilities- Handle inbound and outbound calls related to patient appointments, registration, insurance, and financial inquiries.
- Schedule, reschedule, or cancel patient appointments as needed.
- Complete patient pre-registration by verifying demographic, insurance, and medical information.
- Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, and obtain required authorizations when applicable.
- Assist patients with financial clearance by reviewing coverage, payment responsibilities, and available payment options.
- Accurately update patient records and document all interactions in the appropriate systems.
- Coordinate with healthcare providers, insurance companies, and internal departments to ensure timely resolution of patient requests.
- Maintain compliance with HIPAA, company policies, and healthcare regulations.
- Meet established productivity, quality, and customer service metrics.
- Perform other administrative and healthcare support duties as assigned.
- At least 1 year of BPO experience supporting a healthcare account.
- Experience in Scheduling, Pre-Registration, Insurance Verification, Financial Clearance, or other healthcare administrative functions is an advantage.
- Excellent verbal and written English communication skills.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Ability to multitask and navigate multiple applications simultaneously.
- Customer service-oriented with strong problem-solving skills.
- Willing to work onsite in Manila (Pasig/Ortigas) on a night shift schedule.
