Application Engineer

Salary: ₱105,000 – ₱109,000 per month

Job Summary

We are looking for an experienced Application Engineer to join our team. This role serves as a strategic bridge between business objectives and technology solutions, ensuring that business processes, applications, and stakeholder requirements are aligned to deliver measurable value.

The successful candidate will support both business and technical initiatives through requirements gathering, solution analysis, application support, testing, troubleshooting, and continuous system improvement. This position is ideal for professionals with a strong background in application development, systems integration, and stakeholder collaboration.

• Gather, analyze, and document business and technical requirements.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders, solution architects, and technical teams to align business processes with technology solutions.
• Translate business needs into functional and technical requirements.
• Support solution implementation and user adoption initiatives.
• Perform application troubleshooting and provide technical support for internally developed applications and third-party software.
• Diagnose and resolve application-related issues to ensure system reliability and performance.
• Work closely with engineering and IT teams to maintain business continuity and application stability.
• Participate in solution validation, testing, and deployment activities.
• Support User Acceptance Testing (UAT), including issue resolution and sign-off.
• Drive continuous improvement of business processes and application performance.

• Define and implement end-to-end testing strategies, including:
• Unit Testing
• Functional Testing
• Regression Testing
• Design and execute functional and end-to-end test scenarios aligned with business workflows.
• Build, maintain, and prioritize regression test suites.
• Support test automation initiatives and integrate testing within CI/CD pipelines.
• Ensure applications meet quality standards before production deployment.
• Manage Business-to-UAT testing, validation, and release readiness.

• Strong hands-on experience with:
• .NET / C#
• REST APIs
• System Integration
• Familiarity with:
• Azure App Services
• Azure Functions
• Azure DevOps
• CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Experience supporting enterprise applications and troubleshooting production issues.
• Knowledge of software development lifecycle (SDLC) and Agile methodologies is an advantage.

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Computer Engineering, or a related field.
• Proven experience in application support, systems analysis, business analysis, or application engineering.
• Experience working with both business and technical stakeholders.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
• Experience in hybrid Business Analyst and IT Analyst functions is highly preferred.
