About the role
Idea Global Consulting Services Philippines, Inc. is seeking a talented Java Engineer to join our dynamic team in Bonifacio Global City, Taguig City, Metro Manila. As a full-time Java Engineer, you will play a crucial role in developing and maintaining cutting-edge software applications that drive our clients' success.
We are looking for a systematic problem-solver to join our engineering team. You will be responsible for developing robust applications, managing data integrations, and ensuring code quality through automated testing.
Qualifications- 4+ years of software application testing experience.
- Strong hands-on experience with Java, Selenium, Oracle, and SQL.
- Knowledge of the trade settlement lifecycle, ideally in banking, capital markets, or trading environments.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and prioritization skills.
- Excellent communication skills with experience working in global, cross-functional teams.
- Experience supporting vendor applications and using Confluence and Jira.
- DevOps experience is an advantage.
- Experience with Prompt Engineering and integrating AI tools into workflows.
