Job Description:

Essential Job Functions:

Assist in security assessments, audits, and vulnerability scans, contributing to reports and findings.
Monitor security events and incidents, escalating as needed and assisting with containment.
Support the implementation of security policies and standards.
Collaborate with the security team to document and improve security processes.
Contribute to incident response activities and assist with investigations.
Stay informed about security trends and best practices.
Participate in security awareness training for employees.
Begin to develop a foundational understanding of security tools and technologies.

Basic Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in a relevant field or equivalent combination of education and experience
Typically, 2+ years of relevant work experience
Proficiencies in information security and risk assessment
A continuous learner that stays abreast with industry knowledge and technology

Other Qualifications:

Advanced degree in a relevant field is a plus
Relevant certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CEH, or equivalent are a plus
