Job Summary
The Merchandising Officer is responsible for planning, monitoring, and executing merchandising strategies to ensure proper product availability, inventory movement, and product visibility across branches. The role also coordinates closely with suppliers, operations, and store teams to support sales growth and overall business objectives.Candidates with experience in the pharmaceutical industry are highly preferred.
Key Responsibilities- Monitor product inventory, stock movement, and replenishment levels
- Coordinate with suppliers and internal departments regarding product availability and delivery schedules
- Analyze sales performance and prepare merchandising reports
- Assist in product assortment planning and promotional activities
- Ensure proper implementation of merchandising standards and product displays in branches
- Monitor slow-moving and fast-moving items and recommend action plans
- Maintain accurate records of product pricing, promotions, and inventory status
- Support procurement and merchandising operations as needed
- Conduct market and competitor analysis within the pharmaceutical and retail industry
- Perform other related tasks assigned by management
- Bachelor’s Degree in Marketing, Business Administration, Pharmacy, or any related field
- At least 1–3 years of experience in merchandising, retail, or pharmaceutical industry
- Experience in pharmaceutical retail or healthcare products is an advantage
- Strong analytical and organizational skills
- Excellent communication and coordination abilities
- Proficient in Microsoft Office applications, especially Excel
- Can work under pressure and manage multiple priorities
- Willing to work onsite in Ortigas, Pasig City
