Loan Processor (Contract Role – Remote, Philippines-Based)

We're looking for a skilled Loan Processor to handle the full back-end loan process so our brokers can focus on client relationships and settlements.

Role Purpose
You will be managing the full loan processing and lender liaison process, including administrative and compliance requirements, ensuring applications progress smoothly from submission through to settlement.
Key Responsibilities- Input loan applications into CRM/aggregator platforms (e.g., Mercury)
- Upload, organise, and validate supporting documents provided by the broker (payslips, ID, bank statements)
- Liaise with banks/lenders to follow up on application progress, valuations, conditions, and settlement bookings
- Order valuations and book settlements via lender portals
- Maintain accurate loan pipeline tracking and status updates in CRM
- Complete compliance checklists and file notes for each deal
- Prepare post-settlement documentation packs
- Maintain existing client loan records and conduct annual reviews (valuations, pricing, client background checks)
- Communicate internally with the broker and team (no direct client contact)
- Prior experience as a Loan Processor or Credit Analyst for Australian mortgage brokers or lenders (offshore or onshore)
- Strong English communication skills, including phone liaison with Australian banks/lenders
- Highly detail-oriented and organised, able to manage multiple files simultaneously
- Familiarity with Australian compliance requirements (desirable)
- Minimum 2+ years of experience as a Loan Processor or Credit Analyst for Australian mortgage brokers or lenders (offshore or onshore)
- Experience with CRM/aggregator platforms (Mercury experience preferred, or similar loan processing systems)
- Working knowledge of Australian banking systems, loan products, and settlement processes
- Stable home office setup
- Reliable internet connection with minimum 25 Mbps download / 10 Mbps upload (speed test required)
- Modern laptop/desktop with webcam and microphone for internal calls
- Ability to work during Sydney business hours (Mon–Fri)
- Type: Contract, remote role (initial 3–6 months, with view to go full time from 6 months)
- Hours: 20 hours per week
- Start date: ASAP
- Pay: Competitive hourly rate (paid in PHP)
