Sales & Order Operations Specialist — Research Biospecimens (Life Sciences)

About us

Our company supplies research-grade biological samples (primary cells, tissues, fluids, and related biospecimens) to scientists at universities, biotech, and pharmaceutical companies. We're a small, fast-moving, technical team. You'll work directly with the owner and a lean operations/business-development group, with real ownership over how orders get processed and how new customers are reached.

What you'll do

You'll own the path from lead to delivered order, and help grow the top of the funnel:

• Keep our CRM clean and current — log leads, contacts, inquiries, and orders, and move them through each stage.
• Generate the paperwork for every order: invoices, FedEx shipping labels, and packing lists (including cold-chain / dry-ice documentation for temperature-sensitive shipments — we'll train you on this).
• Respond promptly and professionally to inbound customer inquiries.
• Reach out to identified leads (researchers, lab managers, procurement) by email — and follow up — to introduce our catalog and turn interest into orders.
• Keep records accurate. Small errors on a scientific order are a big deal.

• A scientific or medical background — e.g., nursing, medical technology, biology, biochemistry, pharmacy, or a related field. Lab-research experience is preferred, and you should be comfortable learning and talking about scientific products.
• Excellent written and spoken English. You'll be writing to scientists and procurement staff and sometimes speaking with them. Clear, professional, error-free communication is essential.
• Comfort with sales and outreach. You're not afraid to send a cold email, follow up, and ask for the order — persistent without being pushy.
• Strong attention to detail and reliability. You catch your own mistakes and hit deadlines.
• Willingness to work US Eastern Time hours. This means a night shift in the Philippines. Please only apply if that works for you long-term.

• Experience with WooCommerce, Zoho CRM (or any CRM), or shipping/logistics tools.
• Prior experience working with US-based clients.
• Background in life-sciences, lab, diagnostics, or pharmaceutical products.

• Full-time, with overlap to US Eastern business hours.
• 13th-month / year-end bonus.
• Long-term role with room to grow as we scale.
