Generator Technician

Job Description:

The Generator Technician is responsible for the timely inspection, repair, and preventive maintenance of all assigned generator sets to ensure reliable and continuous power supply. The role requires strong technical knowledge in repair and maintenance (R&M) of diesel generators, particularly those used in hotel and commercial operations.

Key Responsibilities:

• Perform routine inspection, preventive maintenance, and corrective repairs on generator sets
• Diagnose mechanical and electrical issues and implement effective solutions promptly
• Ensure generators are in good working condition and ready for emergency use
• Conduct testing, load testing, and operational checks of generator units
• Maintain accurate records of maintenance, repairs, and service reports
• Coordinate with operations or engineering teams to minimize downtime
• Ensure compliance with safety standards and company procedures
• Provide technical support for generator operations in hotel facilities

Qualifications:

• Proven experience in repair and maintenance of generator sets
• Knowledge of diesel engines, electrical systems, and control panels
• Experience as a generator technician in hotel or commercial settings is an advantage
• Ability to work independently and respond to emergency repairs
