Job Description:

We are seeking experienced Intermediate Tax Accountant to join our expanding team. This is an exciting opportunity for professionals who want to develop their skills and take on a broad range of tax and accounting responsibilities.

As an Tax Accountant, your role will include:

Key Responsibilities:

• Prepare Individual Australian income tax returns from start to finish, ensuring compliance with Australian taxation laws and regulations.
• Good working knowledge of the Australian income tax legislation relating to individual taxpayers with preference given to candidates with prior training in Australian tax.
• Ensure all individual tax compliance obligations are met, including preparing and lodging returns within the required deadlines.
• Work closely with clients to fulfil their taxation obligations with good oral and written communication skills in dealing with clients.
• Competency in using tax software like HandiTax is preferred.
• Collaborate with the team to ensure the timely and accurate preparation of returns.
• Perform any additional tasks as assigned by the reporting manager.
