THE ROLE
As a SERVICE ENGINEER, you will play a key role in maintaining, and supporting next‑generation Communication Systems for Air Traffic Management worldwide—ensuring their reliability, performance, and continuous improvement throughout their lifecycle.
We’re looking for professionals with a solid foundation in IP networking and a strong interest in enterprise-level Linux systems, ideally with exposure to areas such as radio, telephony, and data communications.
MAIN TASKS- Coordinate and execute system troubleshooting and error analysis to ensure timely resolution of operational issues.
- Take ownership of and resolve 2nd-line customer service tickets and incidents, ensuring timely resolution, clear communication, and effective escalation when required.
- Plan, test, and implement system upgrades in live production environments with minimal disruption to operations.
- Schedule and manage technical changes and upgrades to existing infrastructure, ensuring alignment with operational requirements.
- Deploy and configure new on-premise systems, ensuring they meet performance, security, and compliance standards.
- Collaborate on continuous product and solution improvements, tailoring enhancements to meet the specific operational needs of each customer.
- Serve as a technical point of contact for customers, providing guidance and support on infrastructure-related matters.
- Ensure year-round support coverage for critical systems.
- Networking (Cisco, Firewalls)
- Protocols (VoIP, SIP, RTP)
- Hardware and Infrastructure (Servers installation and configuration, Redhat Linux)
- Virtualization (vMware ESXI)
- Monitoring (Zabbix)
- Security (Certificate handling, PKI Setup, Hardening, DMZ)
- IT Service Management (ITSM) processes, including incident, problem, and change management using ticketing systems
- Strong analytical and critical thinking skills with a structured approach to troubleshooting complex systems
- Proven problem-solving capability in technical environments
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to engage effectively with customers and teams
- Strong learning mindset with a drive to master new and evolving technologies in IT
- Team-oriented, with experience collaborating in cross-functional or distributed teams
- Confident, with demonstrated leadership potential
- Willingness to be based in Iloilo with occasional international travel
