Accounting manager (female)

Job Summary

This is a key role in our company and will play a vital part in our growth and success.

1. Develop and maintain accounting principles, practices, and procedures to ensure accurate and timely financial reporting.
2. Manage and oversee the daily operations of the accounting department, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, general ledger, and payroll.
3. Prepare financial statements, budgets, and cash flow forecasts on a regular basis, including project finances and progress reports.
4. Monitor and analyze financial data and prepare financial reports for management.
5. Ensure compliance with local and national financial regulations and tax requirements, including filings with BIR
6. Coordinate and manage the annual audit process.
7. Implement and maintain internal controls to safeguard company assets.
8. Manage and supervise a team of accounting professionals, providing guidance, training, and support as needed.
9. Collaborate with other departments to support financial decision-making and strategic planning.
10. Evaluate and recommend improvements to accounting systems and processes to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
11. Performs other tasks or special projects related to assigned role and position.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field. Must have CPA certification.
2. Proven work experience of at least 5 years as an Accounting Manager in the construction industry.
3. Strong knowledge of accounting principles and financial reporting.
4. Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.
5. Strong leadership and communication skills.
6. Ability to work well under pressure and meet deadlines.
7. Organized, with attention to detail and accuracy.
8. Experience in managing a team of accounting professionals.
9. Knowledge of construction industry accounting practices is a must.
