Role Overview
We’re seeking an SEO Geo‑Specialist and Internal Marketer to boost our visibility in local searches, ensuring potential patients in Chermside and surrounding suburbs find us easily when searching for dental services. This specialist will optimize our online presence to align with geographical search intent and strengthen our position as the go-to dental provider in the area.
Key Responsibilities- Audit and refine all location-based SEO factors—meta tags, local keywords, on‑page signals, internal linking.
- Manage and optimize GMB profiles (including service areas, categories, and accuracy), oversee review generation & response.
- Ensure consistent NAP (Name, Address, Phone) across local directories, dental listings, and health-care platforms.
- Track rankings and traffic from region-specific keywords, monitor map pack rankings and conversions; prepare monthly geo SEO performance reports.
- Monitor reviews across Google, Facebook, and health-specific platforms; suggest and implement strategies to generate positive reviews from patients aligned with your high-quality service.
- Research local dental competitors in Chermside, Sandgate, Aspley, and Northside Brisbane; identify gaps and opportunities.
- Internal Marketing Responsibilities
- Create and send internal newsletters with clinic updates, promos, and staff highlights.
- Support internal campaigns in coordination.
- Help maintain consistent internal communication aligned with brand voice.
- 3+ years specializing in Local/Geo SEO for service-based businesses in Australia.
- Proven results in improving local map rankings and organic visibility.
- Hands-on experience with tools: Google Business Profile, Google Analytics/Search Console, BrightLocal, Moz Local, SEMrush, Ahrefs, etc.
- Familiarity with WordPress-based content and technical SEO best practices (nice to have)
- Strong communicator with ability to translate data into actionable insights.
- Bonus: SEO knowledge in healthcare or dental verticals, familiarity with Australian health-care directory compliance.
