About the Role
The AP/AR Team Leader is responsible for managing the end-to-end operations of accounts payable and receivable for our client in Australia. This leadership role involves overseeing a team of finance specialists to ensure accurate, timely, and compliant financial processing.The position requires strong collaboration with internal teams and the client, driving operational excellence, continuous process improvement, and a high-performance team culture. The AP/AR Team Leader also serves as the primary point of contact for work allocation, escalations, and performance reporting, playing a key role in upholding service quality and client satisfaction.
Key Responsibilities- Leading and mentoring a team of AP/AR specialists
- Ensuring accurate and timely processing of financial transactions
- Overseeing compliance with financial controls and client policies
- Managing client communications and service delivery
- Driving team development, onboarding, and performance reviews
- Implementing process improvements to enhance efficiency
- Handling escalations and maintaining service excellence
- Bachelor's degree in Finance or Accounting (CPA preferred)
- Minimum 3 years of experience in AP/AR operations
- Previous team leadership or coordination experience
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite, with additional experience in ERP platforms such as Triumph, Power BI, and JMS considered a strong advantage.
- Strong understanding of AP and AR processes in dynamic environments
- High attention to detail, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Excellent interpersonal and communication abilities
- Must be willing to report onsite at Arcovia City, Brgy. Ugong, Pasig City (Mon-Fri, 8am-5pm)
