Senior Trade Marketing Manager (for Food & Beverage Retail)

Duties/Responsibilities:

• Develop and implement trade marketing plans tailored to the food retail landscape, including seasonal campaigns, new product introductions, and in-store activations.
• Align trade strategies with brand objectives and sales targets, ensuring consistent messaging across all retail touchpoints.
• Collaborate with key retail partners (e.g., supermarkets, hypermarkets, convenience stores) to optimize shelf presence, planograms, and promotional displays.
• Lead the execution of in-store marketing initiatives such as tastings, end-cap promotions, and point-of-sale materials
• Analyze shopper behavior, category trends, and competitive activity to inform trade strategies.
• Monitor and report on campaign performance, ROI, and market share improvements
• Work closely with sales, brand marketing, supply chain, and category management teams to ensure seamless execution of trade initiatives.
• Partner with external agencies and vendors for creative development and campaign execution.
• Manage trade marketing budgets, ensuring efficient use of resources and maximum impact.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Business, or related field (MBA preferred).
• 5–8 years of experience in trade marketing or sales within the food or FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of the food retail environment, including shopper behavior and retail operations.
• Proven track record of successful trade campaigns and retail partnerships.
• Excellent communication, negotiation, and analytical skills.
• Proficiency in tools like Nielsen, IRI, or other retail analytics platforms.
