Position Overview:
We are seeking a driven and experienced Sr. Financial Analyst to join our team. This role focuses on finance, client support, and project management, primarily within service businesses and e-commerce sectors. The successful candidate will start by helping onboard new clients and eventually manage 35 clients with the assistance of a Fractional CFO.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct financial analysis and assist in providing strategic recommendations to clients.
- Oversee bookkeeping, month-end close, and accounting procedures for clients.
- Prepare financial forecasts, cash flow models, and ad hoc reporting.
- Research, create, and follow standard operating procedures.
- Attend client calls and build strong client relationships through excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Work independently and remotely, managing multiple clients and projects simultaneously.
- Utilize financial software and tools, including accounting systems and advanced Excel/Google Sheets.
Qualifications:
- Minimum 10 years of experience in financial operations, preferably in service businesses and e-commerce.
- Strong understanding of financial principles, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and QuickBooks.
- Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills.
- Effective communication skills in English; accent is not a priority.
Nice-to-Haves:
- Experience with software such as FathomHQ, Syft, Xero Books, and ClickUp.
- Previous client-facing roles.
- Leadership experience.
