Finance and Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities
- Perform financial account reconciliations and investigate discrepancies to ensure the accuracy and integrity of financial records.
- Prepare, review, and post journal entries in accordance with company policies and accounting standards.
- Extract, prepare, analyze, and archive financial reports to support business and regulatory requirements.
- Maintain organized and accurate accounting documentation, records, templates, and forms.
- Conduct data review, validation, and maintenance activities to ensure completeness and accuracy of financial information.
- Support intercompany accounting activities and other finance-related processes as assigned.
- Utilize accounting systems and electronic tools to process transactions and generate reports efficiently.
- Coordinate and communicate with internal stakeholders regarding accounting inquiries, reconciliations, and reporting requirements.
- Assist with audit requests by gathering, organizing, and providing supporting documentation.
- Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting policies, and regulatory requirements.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives within finance and accounting operations.
- Perform ad hoc accounting and administrative tasks as required.
- Bachelor's degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2–3 years of relevant work experience in Finance or Accounting; 3–5 years of experience is preferred.
- Experience in performing journal entries, account reconciliations, and financial reporting.
- Knowledge of general accounting principles and financial processes.
- Experience using SAP, JDE (JD Edwards), or similar ERP/accounting systems is preferred.
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including formulas, functions, pivot tables, lookups, and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with keen attention to detail.
- Excellent organizational and documentation skills.
- Effective verbal and written communication skills with the ability to engage with stakeholders at various levels.
- Ability to manage multiple tasks, prioritize workload, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Experience supporting audits and maintaining financial documentation is an advantage.
- Demonstrates professionalism, integrity, and a commitment to accuracy and compliance.
