Your Role:

As a Accounts Receivable, you will:

• Maintain the accounts receivable function, ensuring timely and accurate customer invoicing and collections.
• Reconcile payments and customer accounts to ensure accurate financial reporting and transaction processing.
• Monitor and collect outstanding accounts receivable balances by communicating with customers via phone, email, and mail.
• Identify slow-paying customers, communicate discrepancies to management, and recommend accounts for collection action.
• Maintain accurate accounts receivable records, including up-to-date aging reports, credit applications, and collection efforts.
• Process invoices through third-party portals for partner reimbursements.
• Calculate and oversee receivables related to incentive-driven business models.
• Perform daily cash management duties including bank deposit recording, updating cash receipt logs, and posting payments to the accounts receivable sub-ledger.
• Analyze and report on collection trends and key performance ratios to support management decision-making.
• Assist with identifying and implementing process improvements to streamline the accounts receivable workflow.
• Gather and verify invoice documentation to ensure completeness and accuracy prior to processing.

What You Need:

• Associate’s degree or equivalent combination of education and experience.
• Experience in accounts receivable processes and customer billing.
• Proficiency in QuickBooks Online and familiarity with an accounting ERP system (e.g., Compeat, SAP, or Restaurant365).
• Strong understanding of basic accounting, finance, and bookkeeping principles.
• Ability to communicate effectively both verbally and in writing.
• Excellent time management, organizational, and attention-to-detail skills.
• Ability to work independently in a high-volume, fast-paced, and deadline-driven environment.
• Commitment to maintaining a high level of confidentiality and professional discretion

Qualifications:

Preferred skills/experience:

• Experience in driving process improvements or automating receivables-related workflows.
• Previous work experience in hospitality, restaurant, or service-based industries.
• Familiarity with cash flow management and accounts receivable analytics.
• Ability to prepare and present financial analyses relevant to accounts receivable performance and collection efficiency.
