Facilities Engineer | Taguig

About the role

This role ensures operational reliability, compliance with safety standards, and cost-effective management of all engineering-related activities within the assigned site.

What you'll be doing

• Oversee and maintain building systems including HVAC, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, and other mechanical systems.
• Conduct preventive maintenance, troubleshooting, and repair activities to ensure continuous operation.
• Monitor facility performance and identify opportunities for energy efficiency and system optimization.
• Prepare and maintain technical documentation, maintenance schedules, and service reports.

• Ensure all facilities engineering activities comply with local regulations, health, safety, and environmental standards.
• Conduct regular safety inspections and risk assessments.
• Implement corrective actions for any safety or compliance issues.
• Support emergency response and business continuity planning from a technical perspective.
• Participate in HSE requirements implementation (maintaining a safe and healthy work environment, complying with HSE policies and procedures, reporting hazards and incidents, and participating in safety training.

• Coordinate with contractors, vendors, and service providers for maintenance, repair, and capital projects.
• Review and monitor vendor performance to ensure adherence to service standards and contractual obligations.
• Assist in preparing scopes of work, cost estimates, and technical evaluations for projects.

• Support client requests and address facility-related concerns promptly.
• Maintain strong communication with internal stakeholders and clients regarding facilities operations.

• Assist in planning, design, and execution of facility improvement and engineering projects.
• Monitor project progress, quality, and timelines, ensuring alignment with budget and client requirements.
• Support commissioning and handover of engineering projects.

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical, Electrical, or Civil Engineering or a related field
• Minimum of 3 years of experience as a Facilities Engineer or in a similar role, preferably in the real estate or property management industry
• Strong technical knowledge of building systems, including HVAC, plumbing, electrical, and life safety equipment
• Experience in project management, vendor coordination, and technical reporting.
• Above average problem-solving, analytical, and communication skills.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office and facilities management software.
