Financial Analyst (Financial Planning & Analysis) Calamba Laguna
Roles and Responsibilities
Job Objective:
§ Provides administrative and transactional support to Financial Planning and Analysis team and business partners.
§ Coordinates with Finance, Sales and Marketing group and Support group.
Responsibilities:
§ Perform job functions consistent to the corporate vision and mission statements and the values of the company.
§ Coordinate with Department head, Section head or process owner submission of required data for budget preparation of Advertising and Promotion Expense (A&P).
§ Maintain database of A&P programs by entering, verifying and backing up data.
§ Annual and Monthly upload of A&P budget and rolling forecast.
§ Reconciles transaction by comparing and correcting data.
§ Prepare for schedule of analysis of Distributors sales performance and payment request for sales volume incentives or rebate programs.
§ Monitor and analyze A&P expenses versus budgets and versus plans and programs; monitor actual results of the program versus target and provide explanation of the increase and decrease and coordinate it with the Department head, Section head or process owner.
§ Create a horizontal and vertical analysis of A&P.
§ Create quantitative analysis that may be asked for specific A&P programs that will be used for decision making.
§ Monitor and analyze Actual vs Budget of Operational expenses,§ Analyze proposed budget in relation to prior year actual and provide explanation for the increase and decrease.
§ Provide correspondence to Sales and Financial planning related queries.
§ Perform other related duties and responsibilities germane or related to from the above enumeration that may be assigned from time to time or as the need arises.
§ Participate in collegial planning for policies, procedures and systems through participation in standing or ad hoc committees, task force or project teams.
Qualifications and Education Requirements
§ Completion of Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy or Business Administration or other related fields.
§ At least two (6) months-experience in accounting field.

§ Computer literate - proficient in Microsoft office and with good level of competence in Microsoft excel.
§ Adept in the use of the Internet.
