Project-in-charge engineer

About the role

This full-time position offers the opportunity to contribute to the growth and development of our organization.

• Provide leadership and technical guidance to project teams, ensuring the timely and efficient completion of civil and structural engineering projects
• Liaise with clients, contractors, and other stakeholders to understand project requirements, manage expectations, and resolve any issues that arise
• Review and approve design plans, drawings, and technical specifications to ensure adherence to safety standards and project specifications
• Monitor project progress, identify and mitigate risks, and implement corrective actions as needed
• Collaborate with the design team to identify innovative solutions and optimise project plans
• Ensure compliance with relevant building codes, regulations, and environmental standards
• Prepare and present progress reports, project documentation, and cost analyses

• Bachelor's degree in Civil or Structural Engineering, or a related field
• A minimum of 1 year of experience as a Project-in-Charge Engineer or in a similar role within the civil/structural engineering industry
• Strong technical skills, including expertise in design software, project management, and construction methodologies
• Proficient in project management tools and techniques, with a strong understanding of budgets, schedules, and risk management
• Demonstrated problem-solving and decision-making abilities, with a solutions-oriented mindset
• Familiarity with relevant building codes, regulations, and safety standards in the Philippines
