Safety Officer

Employee Safety and Health Management

• Support the Safety Officer in regularly monitoring workplace risks to identify new hazards or changes in working conditions.
• Utilize daily observations and reports on workplace practices, processes, machinery, or activities to suggest policy improvements, equipment upgrades, or enhanced safety practices.
• Assist the Safety Officer in conducting safety patrols to identify and report unsafe conditions or acts that may lead to accidents.
• Ensure the provision and proper placement of safety and hazard communication signages.
• Act as a safety representative for employees, facilitating open communication regarding safety concerns.
• Support the monitoring and enforcement of plant safety rules and policies alongside Safety Associates.
• Promote compliance with safety regulations and policies among all employees.
• Lead Safety Associates in inspecting and maintaining emergency equipment, including eyewash stations, fire extinguishers, fire hoses, emergency lights, exits, and exit lamps.
• Support the Safety Officer in preparing the workplace for emergency drills and ensuring emergency preparedness protocols are in place.
• Perform first aid activities as necessary and provide support to patients in the clinic when required.

• Monitor and control the issuance of IPA and blanking oil to production, ensuring proper records are maintained.
• Facilitate the issuance and monitoring of PPE, ensuring compliance with PPE requirements among employees.
• Conduct PPE inventories and relay replenishment needs to the Safety Officer.
• Facilitate and promote the 5S methodology and housekeeping practices by coordinating with other employees and departments.
• Support the proper handling, segregation, and disposal of solid waste and scraps to ensure environmental compliance.

• Perform additional duties as assigned to support the HRGA team and ensure efficient operations.
• Assist with special projects or initiatives related to human resources and general affairs as needed.
