Job Description:

The Quality Assurance (QA) Associate is responsible for ensuring the quality, safety, and compliance of Food & Beverage (F&B) products during receiving, storage, and distribution. This role verifies that products meet established quality standards, food safety regulations, and company policies.

The QA Associate works closely with warehouse, production, and quality teams to ensure accurate inventory records and that products are handled and delivered in excellent condition.

Key Responsibilities

Receiving and Inspection
  • Inspect and verify incoming F&B products to ensure accuracy in quantity, quality, and compliance with specifications.
Quality Control
  • Conduct quality checks to identify defects, damages, or inconsistencies and ensure adherence to quality standards and company policies.
Inventory Monitoring
  • Monitor inventory conditions and verify records to ensure accuracy of quantities and product information.
Documentation and Reporting
  • Prepare, review, and maintain quality-related documentation for incoming and outgoing products, including inspection reports, receipts, and shipping documents.
Coordination and Monitoring
  • Coordinate with warehouse and production teams to ensure proper storage, handling, and rotation of products in accordance with food safety and sanitation requirements.
Compliance
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards, Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP), and sanitation guidelines at all times.
Non-Conformance Reporting
  • Report quality issues, discrepancies, or damaged goods to concerned departments and assist in implementing corrective and preventive actions.

Qualifications

Education
  • High school diploma or equivalent; a degree or training in Food Technology, Quality Assurance, or related fields is an advantage.
Experience
  • 1–2 years of experience in quality assurance, inventory control, or warehousing, preferably within the food & beverage industry.
Skills and Competencies
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills
  • Basic math and documentation skills
  • Ability to use quality or inventory management systems and basic computer applications
  • Good organizational and record-keeping abilities
  • Effective communication skills and ability to work well with cross-functional teams
  • Knowledge of food safety standards, GMP, HACCP, and sanitation practices
  • Willing to work on a shifting schedule, 6 days a week, with 1 non-fixed rest day
  • Can start ASAP.
