• Oversee the installation, configuration, and maintenance of database systems.
• Perform regular database backups, recovery, and performance tuning.
• Ensure databases are updated with the latest patches and versions.

• Implement and maintain database security measures to protect against unauthorized access and threats.
• Monitor database activity and access to ensure compliance with security policies.
• Conduct regular security audits and vulnerability assessments.

• Ensure the availability and reliability of database systems.
• Monitor database performance and troubleshoot issues as they arise.
• Optimize database performance through indexing, query optimization, and other techniques.

• Work closely with the IT Infrastructure team to ensure seamless integration of database systems with other IT infrastructure.
• Provide technical support and guidance for database-related issues and projects.
• Collaborate with development and operations teams to support application and system requirements.

• Develop and maintain documentation for database configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Generate regular reports on database performance, incidents, and improvements.
• Keep stakeholders informed about database activities and any changes.

• Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field.
• Minimum of 2 years of experience in database administration.
• Preferred: With relevant certifications (e.g., Oracle DBA, Microsoft SQL Server DBA, MySQL DBA)
