Qualifications

Education & Experience
  • 2 to 4 years of experience in master data management, item lifecycle management, healthcare procurement, or ERP data governance
  • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Healthcare Analytics, or a related field
  • Familiarity with U.S. healthcare systems and vendors such as Vizient, Captis, and similar platforms is an advantage
Technical Skills
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel, including Pivot Tables, VLOOKUP/XLOOKUP, conditional formatting, and Power Query
  • Experience using ERP platforms such as Workday, SAP, or Oracle
  • Working knowledge of Power BI and SharePoint for data tracking, reporting, and analysis

  • High attention to detail and commitment to accuracy

  • Ability to work independently and proactively seek guidance when needed

Responsibilities

Item Master Maintenance & Data Quality
  • Create and maintain item master records, including item names, descriptions, manufacturers, units of measure (UOMs), pricing, and supplier identifiers using OurDay and Data Connect tools
  • Ensure data consistency, completeness, and accuracy across platforms
  • Maintain compliance naming conventions and classification standards
Data Validation & Reconciliation
  • Normalize manufacturer and supplier part numbers to ensure consistency across systems
  • Remove duplicate records and maintain data integrity
  • Validate units of measure and audit data fields to support traceability and reporting accuracy
  • Investigate, clarify, and resolve discrepancies in pricing, descriptions, classifications, and related data elements
  • Collaborate with internal stakeholders to address and resolve data quality issues
New Item Creation & Lifecycle Updates
  • Process New Item Requests and validate required information before item creation
  • Maintain item attributes, including EPIC and PYXIS tags, sourcing priorities, contract references, and regulatory identifiers
  • Record and track item additions, modifications, and lifecycle updates
  • Maintain audit-ready logs and support ongoing data hygiene initiatives
Stakeholder Collaboration & Continuous Improvement
  • Partner with sourcing, contracts, and analytics teams to support procurement and reporting objectives
  • Ensure item master data meets operational, sourcing, and reporting requirements
  • Identify opportunities to improve item lifecycle workflows and data governance practices
  • Support process improvement initiatives that enhance data quality and operational efficiency
