is currently looking for: AIRCON TECHNICIAN

• Installs, maintains, and repairs air conditioning systems and equipment
• Inspect and assess systems to identify any potential problems
• Repair or replace worn-out or defective parts in the air conditioning system
• Perform routine preventive maintenance on air conditioning systems to ensure they are operating at optimal capacity
• Document each aspect of a system, including all maintenance and repair work, as a reference for future upgrades and maintenance
• Order necessary parts and supplies to complete all tasks
• Identify maintenance risks on equipment
• Diagnose electrical and mechanical defects and malfunctions
• Provide excellent customer service and explain any repairs needed
• Ensure jobs are completed on time to high-quality standards
• Carry out minor plumbing maintenance work, including changing or repairing leaks in faucets and drains, trenching and laying new lines, unclogging drains, etc.
• Respond to emergency calls for system repair and maintenance
• Provide support after work hours if required in situations like emergencies, workshops, commission meetings, and other company functions
• Provide assistance to the engineer in planning new installation and modification projects, preparation of specifications, and major reconditioning and overhauling projects, applying knowledge of refrigerating systems, engineering specifications, and blueprints
• Coordinates with the Operations Manager for Job Orders
• Coordinate efforts with the company’s contracted Aircon vendors to ensure the company's Aircon systems are functioning perfectly
• Perform related duties as assigned.
• Qualifications/Requirements

• - Certified Aircon Technician
• With at least 3 years of solid experience in air-conditioning systems.
• Responsible, Dependable, and Reliable
• Can work under less supervision
• Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal skills
• Strong ability and skill to quickly and correctly diagnose, locate, and fix defects in refrigeration and air conditioning systems/units and similar equipment
• Ability to work in confined spaces and open-air environments
• Ability to effectively file work orders and write reports
• Strong ability to establish and maintain good working relationships with customers, colleagues, and supervisors.
• Strong knowledge of the practices and principles for effective preventive maintenance of air conditioning systems
• Knowledge of safety measures and regulations to ensure all work is completed in a safe and legal manner.
• Ability to read and understand technical diagrams and manuals.
• Time management skills to complete tasks within given deadlines and plan maintenance schedules effectively.
• Willing to work beyond the normal working hours
• Willing to do field work
• Has a valid driver’s license
