Job Summary
To lead our Food and Non-Food procurement operations. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing and executing strategic sourcing initiatives, optimizing procurement processes, strengthening supplier partnerships, and ensuring cost-effective, timely, and compliant purchasing that supports business objectives.
This role requires a strategic leader with extensive procurement experience, strong negotiation skills, and the ability to drive operational excellence while mentoring a high-performing procurement team.
Key Responsibilities- Develop and execute procurement strategies aligned with business objectives.
- Lead strategic sourcing initiatives to optimize cost, quality, and supply continuity.
- Oversee end-to-end procurement activities, including purchase requisitions, purchase orders, approvals, and supplier selection.
- Manage supplier accreditation, evaluation, contract negotiations, and performance reviews.
- Build and maintain long-term relationships with strategic suppliers and business partners.
- Monitor market trends, pricing, and supply risks to identify opportunities for cost savings and process improvements.
- Ensure timely procurement of goods and services to support operational requirements.
- Develop and monitor procurement budgets and contribute to achieving financial targets.
- Ensure compliance with company policies, ethical sourcing standards, and applicable laws and regulations.
- Identify and implement continuous improvements in procurement systems, policies, and processes.
- Lead, coach, and develop the Procurement Team while driving departmental KPIs and performance standards.
- Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, Industrial Engineering, Finance, or a related field.
- Minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in Procurement or Supply Chain Management.
- At least 5 years in a managerial or senior leadership role overseeing procurement operations.
- Strong background in strategic sourcing, supplier relationship management, contract negotiation, and procurement governance.
- Proven experience managing both Food and Non-Food procurement is highly preferred.
- Strong analytical, negotiation, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Excellent communication and decision-making abilities.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office and procurement or ERP systems.
