Position: GDS Expert

GDS Operations Management:

  • Manage and operate GDS platforms to book flights and other travel-related services.
  • Ensure accuracy in all bookings, changes, and other transactions processed through the GDS.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve any issues related to GDS flight operations.

Data Management and Reporting:

  • Generate reports on booking patterns, cancellations, and other key metrics to support business decisions.
  • Analyze data to identify trends, opportunities, and areas for improvement.

Customer Service:

  • Assist travel agents with booking inquiries, special requests, and other customer service-related issues.
  • Handle escalations and complex booking situations, ensuring a high level of customer satisfaction.
  • Resolve any booking errors or discrepancies in a timely manner.

Compliance and Security:

  • Ensure that all GDS transactions comply with industry regulations, company policies, and data security standards.
  • Maintain confidentiality of sensitive client and company information.

Innovation and Strategy:

  • Contribute to the development of new travel products and services by leveraging GDS capabilities.
  • Provide input on strategic decisions related to GDS system usage and travel services offered by the company.
  • Explore and implement new technologies or features that enhance the company's competitive advantage in the travel industry.

Qualifications/Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS:
  • At least 2 years or more of solid experience in using GDS platforms (Sabre, Apollo, Amadeus, etc) - Flight searching for Business Class Tickets
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills in English.
  • Schedule Availability: Flexible to work on a Dayshift and selected Philippine Holidays.
  • Willing to work Onsite - Cebu PH.
