MULTILINGUAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST (GERMAN)

Under the direct Supervision of a Team Lead, the MULTILINGUAL TECHNICAL SUPPORT SPECIALIST provides overall Technical and helpdesk Support and Customer Care primarily to GlobalSign German speaking customers.

JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
  1. Understands thoroughly all Globalsign products and ensures compliance with GlobalSign's strictest security policies and ability to apply procedure-driven task to process certificate applications.
  2. Researches, investigates, and resolves customer technical issues.
  3. Assists customers in installation and implementation of GlobalSign products.
  4. Interprets instructions and issues and implement actions according to company policies and procedures.
  5. Provides excellent customer service to clients that meets and exceeds company’s and client’s standards by responding to customers promptly, demonstrating deep knowledge and expertise of GlobalSign products, etc.
  6. Performs, if need arises, web content management tasks by executing and delivering web content goals based on Tech Support guidelines.
  7. Complies with company policies and procedures, including but not limited to information security and acceptable use, and for undertaking mandatory in-house company training as required.
  8. Performs other job-related responsibilities assigned by the Immediate Manager/Supervisor.

Qualifications/Requirements

JOB REQUIREMENTS:
  • Can speak and write fluent and business level English and Russian.
  • Sound organizational and interpersonal skills with a strong customer focus.
  • Able to do multi-tasking, desire to work in fast paced, rapidly evolving environment and fast learner.
  • College education.
  • At least one (1) year Strong Technical Background. Call center Agent with ISP or Web hosting Account experience are preferred but not required.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Good problem solving, analytical and critical thinking skills
  • Amenable to work on holidays and/or weekends
  • Willing to work in Makati City and can start ASAP.
  • Extensive knowledge of Microsoft Office applications and the internet environment.
Plus:
  • Should have an interest in IT and be good at researching and solving technical problems.
  • Comfortable with using command-lines both for Linux terminal and windows command prompt (preferred but not required.
  • Experience with Windows Servers (2003 and up, Exchange), experience with LINUX, Knowledgeable about different kind of Web Servers (IIS, Apache, Tomcat, etc....) preferred but not required.
You will also be required to carry out other Multilingual Client Services’ duties, as and when required for the needs of the business.
General:

Because of the nature of our business and its changing requirements, this job profile is a general outline of the type of key tasks the job holder will be asked to undertake in their role. It will be reviewed regularly in consultation with the post holder and as part of GlobalSign’s performance structure.

In addition, at the request of the immediate head/manager, job responsibilities and duties may change from time to time depending on the department’s alignment to GlobalSign’s Mission and goals.
