Job Description

Ensures that SAP systems as well as all required network connections are up and running every single day. The tasks

also include all aspects of implementation, configuration, administration, performance

• SAP user creation, update, activation/deactivation, password reset and deletion.
• Create and update SAP authorizations
• Research and implement solutions for Basis functionality in the areas of performance monitoring and tuning and systems configurations, designs and implementation
• Provide documentation for technical and process related activities and maintenance of transports
• Setup, configuration, and troubleshooting of Linux environments (e.g. high availability, load balancing, etc.)
• Function as point of contact for production SAP BASIS related issues
• Conduct on-going monitoring and maintenance to ensure stability and optimal performance on all server environments
• Test new software package and implement it to the production systems (BW/ECC).
• Apply SAP Notes and Security Notes
• Perform SAP Kernel upgrade
• Capacity planning
• Provide KT to SAP Basis team members
