REPORTS TO: General Manager/ President
QUALIFICATIONS/SKILLS:
- Bachelor’s degree in Food Chemistry, Food Science or related field
- Strong knowledge of food safety regulations
- Experience with laboratory equipment and analytical techniques
- Preferably, with experience in product development or food manufacturing
- Familiarity with sensory evaluation techniques
- Knowledge of sustainable and innovative food technologies
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
- Strong communication and teamwork abilities
JOB RESPONSIBILITIES:
- Conduct chemical analyses to determine the nutritional content, flavor profiles and safety of food products
- Develop and improve food formulations, including creating new products and enhancing existing ones
- Research and implement methods to extend shelf life and improve food preservation techniques
- Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and industry standards
- Investigate and resolve issues related to food quality, safety or production processes
- Collaborate with other functional teams, including product development, quality assurance and marketing
- Performs any other tasks that maybe given, from time to time.
