About the role
We are looking for an experienced Logistic and Motorpool In-charge to join our dynamic team at K84 Construction and Development Corporation in Quezon City, Metro Manila. As a key member of our Production, Planning & Scheduling team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the smooth and efficient operation of our logistics and motorpool functions to support our manufacturing and construction activities.
What you'll be doing- Oversee the daily operations of the company's logistics and motorpool, including maintenance, scheduling
- Schedule and monitoring of all light equipment, heavy equipment and power tool activities.
- Manage and schedule the operations, procurement, storage, and distribution of supplies and materials required for logistics and motorpool maintenance
- Recommend and implement policies and procedures to optimise the utilisation of the company's vehicles and equipment
- Collaborate with the production and construction teams to ensure timely delivery of materials and resources to support project timelines
- Maintain accurate records and documentation of all logistics and motorpool activities
- Identify and implement opportunities for process improvements and cost savings, prepare, present and analyze profit / loss of logistics and motorpool.
- Supervise and train a team of logistics and motorpool personnel
- Case management of unfortunate events and accidents
- Bachelors in Management / Mechanical Engineer (even if no PRC License) or any relevant field.
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in a similar logistic and motorpool management role, preferably within the construction industry
- Strong understanding of logistics and motorpool operations
- Excellent problem-solving and decision-making skills, with the ability to prioritise tasks and meet deadlines under pressure
- Strong leadership and team management capabilities, with the ability to motivate and develop a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams
- Strong administrative skills including experience with databases, Microsoft Office, etc.
- Willing to do both office and field work
