Job Description:
The purpose of this role is to provide internal IT support, maintain and improve networkinfrastructure and administer our Microsoft Cloud Environment.
Key Responsibilities:
Day-to-Day IT Support- Provide Level 1–2 technical support to internal users across hardware, software, and applications
- Troubleshoot issues related to desktops, laptops, mobile devices, printers, and peripherals
- Manage IT service requests and incidents through a ticketing system
- Support onboarding and offboarding of staff (user accounts, devices, access permissions)
- Administer Microsoft Entra ID (Azure AD), including user access, groups, MFA, and security policies
- Manage and support Microsoft 365 services including SharePoint, Teams, OneDrive, and Exchange
- Assist with device management and security (Intune / endpoint management if applicable)
- Help maintain data governance, permissions, and best practices across Microsoft platforms
- Assist with the management and support of the company network using Cisco Meraki
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot connectivity issues
- Support switches, firewalls, wireless networks, and VLAN configurations
- Work with vendors and service providers when required
- Investigate and resolve network-related security events or anomalies
- Apply best-practice firewall, wireless, and network security configurations
- Enforce IT policies and standards
- Monitor, respond to, and investigate security alerts across Microsoft and network environments
- Resolve security incidents and vulnerabilities in a timely and structured manner
- Assist with identity, access, and conditional access controls (MFA, least-privilege access)
- Apply security patches, updates, and configuration changes across systems and devices
- Support ongoing compliance with IT security, privacy, and data protection requirements
- Escalate security risks or incidents where required and assist with remediation activities
- Maintain clear IT documentation, procedures, and asset registers
- Identify opportunities to improve systems, processes, and automation
- Assist with IT projects such as system upgrades, migrations, or new deployments
Qualification and requirements:
- Previous experience in an IT support or systems administration role
- Strong knowledge of Microsoft 365 and Entra ID
- Experience supporting Windows and/or macOS environments
- Understanding of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs)
- Hands-on experience with Cisco Meraki (or similar network platforms)
- Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills
- Articulate communication skills & a customer-focused mindset
- Experience with Intuneor other endpoint management tools
- Exposure to cybersecurity best practices
- Experience in a multi-site or cloud-first environment
- IT Certifications (Microsoft, Cisco, ITIL, etc)
Non-negotiable skills & requirements:
- Minimum of 1-2 years experience in Managed IT
