Production controller

Job Description

• Develop and manage production schedules to meet deadlines and customer demands.
• Monitor and control inventory levels, ensuring timely ordering of materials and supplies.
• Oversee and coordinate the flow of materials, labor, and equipment throughout the production cycle.
• Implement and monitor quality control measures to ensure products meet required standards and specifications
• Liaise with other departments like sales, engineering, purchasing, and logistics to align production with overall business goals.
• Identify and troubleshoot any problems or bottlenecks in the production process to maintain smooth operations
• Supervise, train, and motivate production staff to ensure efficiency and productivity.
• Track and report on key production metrics and performance data.
• Analyze production data and identify opportunities for process improvements to enhance efficiency and reduce costs.

• Has the ability to plan, schedule, and manage multiple tasks effectively.
• Native Japanese speaker, can read and write Japanese language
• Native Tagalog speaker
• Has a higher level of English proficiency
• With a strong verbal and written communication skills (Japanese, English and Filipino/ Tagalog) for collaborating with different departments and teams.
• Has the ability to manage multiple tasks and projects effectively.
• Has the capacity to interpret data, identify issues, and make data-driven decisions.
• Familiarity with production management software, enterprise resource planning (ERP) systems, and other relevant technology is necessary.
• A minimum of several years of hands-on experience in a production or factory setting is typically necessary.
• Ability to work under pressure.
• Extensive experience in production control, manufacturing, or supply chain management is expected
