Tabaco - Compliance Specialist

Job Summary:

The Compliance Associate will support the Compliance Team in ensuring that the organization complies with regulatory requirements, internal policies, and industry standards. This role involves monitoring activities, assisting in audits and risk assessments, maintaining compliance records, and supporting the implementation of compliance programs.

Key Responsibilities:

• Assist in the execution of compliance monitoring activities and internal reviews.
• Help ensure that the company’s operations are in line with applicable laws and regulations.
• Support in preparing and submitting regulatory reports and documentation.
• Maintain accurate and organized compliance files and records.
• Assist in identifying potential compliance risks and contribute to risk mitigation strategies.
• Track regulatory updates and inform relevant stakeholders of changes.
• Participate in compliance training sessions and help develop training materials.
• Support in handling compliance-related inquiries from internal departments.
• Escalate issues of non-compliance to the Compliance Supervisor or Manager.
• Contribute to projects aimed at improving the organization’s compliance framework.

Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Business Administration, Finance, or a related field.
• Fresh graduates or candidates with 1–2 years of experience in compliance, audit, risk management, or a related field are encouraged to apply.
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
• Basic knowledge of regulatory frameworks is an advantage.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Integrity, discretion, and the ability to handle confidential information.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
