AWS Cloud Engineer

About the Role

We are looking for AWS Cloud Engineer to join our Cloud Operations & DevOps team. In this role, you will design, build, and operate scalable, secure, and highly available AWS infrastructure across multiple environments and regions.

You will work closely with engineering teams to improve system reliability, streamline deployments, and drive infrastructure standardization across a growing and diverse platform.

• Design, deploy, and maintain AWS infrastructure across multiple accounts and regions
• Build and manage infrastructure as code using Terraform / OpenTofu
• Implement monitoring, logging, and alerting (CloudWatch, Prometheus, Grafana)
• Manage and optimize compute platforms (EC2, ECS/EKS, Lambda)
• Design secure and scalable networking (VPCs, peering, Transit Gateway)
• Support database infrastructure (RDS, Aurora, caching solutions)
• Implement backup, disaster recovery, and high-availability strategies
• Improve cloud security posture (IAM, guardrails, audit logging)
• Collaborate with teams to enhance CI/CD pipelines and deployment workflows
• Participate in an on-call rotation for production systems

• 5+ years experience in AWS cloud engineering or DevOps roles
• Strong hands-on experience with AWS services (EC2, VPC, RDS, S3, IAM, Lambda, ECS/EKS)
• Proven experience with Terraform (or OpenTofu) in production environments
• Solid understanding of AWS networking (VPCs, subnets, security groups, VPN)
• Experience with monitoring and observability tools
• Proficiency in scripting (Bash / Shell)
• Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and automation
• Strong troubleshooting skills in distributed systems
• Ability to work independently and collaborate across teams

• Experience with multi-account or multi-region AWS environments
• Exposure to container orchestration (Kubernetes / EKS)
• Knowledge of cloud security best practices or compliance frameworks
• Experience with cost optimization (FinOps)
• Exposure to multi-cloud environments (AWS + Azure)
