Sports Media Communications Manager

About the role

In this full-time role based in Carmona Cavite, you will work closely with the marketing and communications teams to raise the profile of Philippine football through impactful media engagement.

1. Crafting targeted and engaging media content across various platforms to promote Philippine football and the Federation's activities
2. Developing and managing media relations strategies to secure coverage in key local and national media outlets
3. Coordinating media activities for major football events and tournaments, including press conferences, interviews and media access
4. Analysing media performance and providing data-driven insights to continually optimise media strategies
5. Collaborating with the marketing team to align communications and amplify brand messaging
6. Managing the media database and responding promptly to media inquiries
7. Identifying and leveraging influencer and partnership opportunities to extend the Federation's reach

1. Minimum 5 years of experience in sports media communications or public relations, preferably within the football/sports industry
2. Proven track record in developing and executing successful integrated media campaigns
3. Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to tailor messaging for diverse media audiences
4. Strong interpersonal skills and the capacity to build effective relationships with media contacts
5. Proficiency in data analysis and reporting to measure the impact of media activities
6. Passion for sports, particularly football, and a deep understanding of the Philippine football landscape
7. Familiarity with digital media platforms and content creation tools
