Finance Officer

QUALIFICATIONS
- Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Accounting Technology, Finance, or related field
- At least 3 - 5 years of experience in accounting, taxation, or finance
- Proven hands-on experience in BIR tax compliance, including:
- Income tax, VAT, Percentage Tax
- Withholding taxes (EWT, compensation, final tax)
- Preparation and filing of BIR forms and alphalists
- Experience in BIR audits, assessments, or tax reconciliations is an advantage
- Strong knowledge of Philippine tax laws, BIR rules, and regulations
- Familiarity with BIR eFPS/eBIRForms and online filing systems
- Knowledge of accounting standards (PFRS/IFRS) and internal controls
- Proficiency in MS Excel and accounting software (e.g., SAP, QuickBooks, Xero)
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to interpret tax regulations and apply them correctly
- Skilled in tax reconciliation, variance analysis, and documentation
- Ability to identify compliance risks and recommend corrective actions
- Good written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to liaise with BIR officers, auditors, external accountants, and management
- Capable of explaining tax and compliance issues to non-finance staff
