The Marketing Communications Officer / Copywriter is responsible in the delivery of marketing and communication campaigns, publications and media related to building St. Luke’s Medical Center’s reputation.
Responsibilities:
- Coordinates with assigned unit for the planning and development of corporate communications requirements (articles, brochures, patient and family education materials, etc).
- Participates in meetings to plan the communication activities, reports on these activities and helps determine timetables for activities and projects.
- Assists in planning and monitoring of targeted marketing and communication campaigns.
- Implements and oversees communications programs that effectively describe and promote the organization and its products and services, through the implementations of appropriate communications strategies to ensure that a positive image of the SLMC is maintained.
- Conducts research and analysis of the issues and opportunities which exist within the various internal and external public relations and interpret these issues and opportunities to management.
- Participates in a wide scope of corporate communications activities including production of corporate collateral such as annual reports, dispatch of press releases and organization of various events like shareholder meetings and media conferences.
- Anticipates possible public and media reaction to certain issues by monitoring any and all news and feature articles and broadcast reports in either TV or radio, that may be both advantageous and adverse to the interest of SLMC, and reports the same to immediate superior or management.
- Gathers and provides insights for the development of digital media
- Compiles corporate and marketing communications literatures such as newsletter, brochure, poster, advertisement and appropriate corporate statistics using a variety of techniques.
Qualifications:
- Candidate must possess at least a Bachelor's/College Degree in Journalism, Business Studies/ Administration/Management, Mass Communications, Marketing, Commerce or equivalent.
- At least 2 year(s) of working experience in the related field is required for this position.
- With PR and Media Relations experience.
- Strong Copywriting skills (press releases and articles).
- With leadership potential and strong customer service focus
- Able to multi-task and work with stringent deadlines organized and results oriented
- Preferably 1-4 Yrs Experience Employees specializing in Journalist/Editor or equivalent.
