The General Sales Manager is responsible for leading and overseeing the sales department to achieve company revenue targets. This role involves developing strategic sales plans, managing the sales team, building strong customer relationships, and ensuring the delivery of exceptional service.

Key Responsibilities
  • Develop and implement comprehensive sales strategies and plans aligned with company objectives to meet or exceed sales targets across internal and external channels.
  • Lead, motivate, and manage the sales team to optimize performance, improve productivity, and foster a high-performance sales culture.
  • Set clear sales goals, monitor key performance metrics, and provide regular performance reports and updates to senior management.
  • Identify new market opportunities, customer segments, and develop strategies to penetrate and grow these markets effectively.
  • Build and maintain long-term relationships with key clients, stakeholders, and partners to ensure customer satisfaction and loyalty.
  • Oversee the entire sales pipeline, forecast sales performance, and ensure timely follow-up on leads and opportunities.
  • Collaborate with marketing and product teams to develop promotional campaigns, sales initiatives, and support materials.
  • Conduct regular training, coaching, and skill development sessions for the sales team to ensure continuous improvement.
  • Analyze market trends, competitor activities, and customer feedback to inform and refine sales strategies.
  • Ensure all sales activities comply with company policies, industry regulations, and ethical standards.

Manage administrative functions related to sales operations, including proposals, forecasting, and performance reviews.
