GENERAL ACCOUNTANT

1. Financial Recording & Bookkeeping

• Record daily transactions (sales, expenses, payroll, etc.)
• Maintain general ledger and supporting schedules
• Ensure accuracy and completeness of financial data

1. Accounts Payable

• Monitor and record payables
• Manage supplier payments

1. Payroll Support

• Assist in payroll preparation and verification
• Ensure proper recording of salaries, taxes, and benefits

1. Tax Compliance

• Prepare and file tax returns (VAT, withholding tax, income tax)
• Ensure compliance with BIR regulations
• Coordinate with external auditors or tax consultants

1. Budgeting & Forecasting

• Assist in preparing budgets
• Monitor actual vs budget performance

1. Audit & Internal Controls

• Prepare documents for audits
• Ensure proper internal controls are followed
• Recommend improvements in financial processes

• Bachelor’s degree in Accountancy, Finance, or related field
• CPA is a plus (but not always required)
• 2–5 years of accounting experience is an advantage
• Knowledge of accounting systems (e.g., QuickBooks, Xero, or similar)
• Strong understanding of Philippine tax laws

• Good communication skills
• Proficiency in Excel or accounting software
