Conduct inspections and testing to verify product quality and compliance.
- Review and approve quality control procedures, ensuring consistency in operations.
- Investigate customer complaints and defects, determining root causes and corrective actions.
- Perform statistical analysis on quality data to identify patterns and improvement opportunities.
- Ensure proper calibration and maintenance of testing equipment.
- Coordinate with suppliers and vendors, addressing quality concerns and improvements.
- Prepare reports for management, summarizing quality performance and compliance status.
- Implement process validation techniques, ensuring reliability and efficiency.
- Supervise QA team activities, ensuring adherence to quality protocols.
- Stay updated on industry trends and regulations, adapting quality strategies accordingly.
- Develop and implement quality management systems to ensure product and service consistency.
- Ensure compliance with industry standards, regulatory requirements, and company policies.
- Lead quality audits, both internal and external, to assess adherence to quality standards.
- Monitor and analyze quality metrics, identifying trends and areas for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including production, engineering, and customer service, to maintain quality standards.
- Oversee corrective and preventive actions, ensuring continuous improvement in processes.
- Manage supplier quality, ensuring raw materials and components meet required specifications.
- Train and mentor QA staff, fostering a culture of quality and accountability.
- Develop and maintain documentation, including quality manuals, procedures, and reports.
- Bachelor’s degree in Quality Management, Chemical Engineering, Life Sciences, or a related field
- 4–6 years of experience in quality assurance, with at least 2 years in a leadership or managerial role
- Strong knowledge of quality management systems (QMS), standards, and regulatory requirements
- Proven experience in conducting audits, inspections, and root cause analysis
- Proficiency in statistical analysis and quality tools
- Familiarity with calibration and validation processes for testing equipment
- Excellent leadership and team management skills
- Strong communication and collaboration abilities across departments and with external partners
- Experience in supplier quality management and vendor coordination
- Skilled in preparing quality reports and maintaining documentation
- Has knowledge/background with FSSC22000
