Junior Data Scientist

Job Description

We are looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Junior Data Scientist to join our data team. In this role, you will support data analysis, build basic models, and help transform raw data into meaningful insights. • Collect, clean, and preprocess structured and unstructured data
• Perform exploratory data analysis (EDA) to identify trends and patterns
• Assist in building and validating machine learning models
• Work with senior team members to develop data-driven solutions
• Create visualizations and dashboards to communicate findings
• Write clear and efficient code for data processing and analysis
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (e.g., product, engineering, business)
• Document processes, methodologies, and results

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, or a related field
• 0–2 years of experience in data science, analytics, or related roles (internships count)
• Basic programming skills in Python or R
• Basic understanding of statistics and machine learning concepts
• Knowledge of SQL and databases

• Experience with data visualization tools such as Matplotlib, Seaborn, or Tableau
• Exposure to version control systems like Git
• Familiarity with cloud platforms such as Amazon Web Services or Google Cloud Platform
• Strong willingness to learn and adapt to new technologies
